Mozart is not far away...
The world is not doing well. Suddenly, Elisey makes it better with the magic of his virtuosity! His very name already intrigues us. Derived from Latin, borrowed from Greek, which in turn adopted it from Hebrew, Elisey means “God saves me”. From there, it’s only a small step to seeing him as an inspired child - a step that many of his fans are tempted to take when they watch him play so divinely. Mozart is not far away...
Elisey was born at the end of October 2010 in Stavropol, in southern Russia. His love of music apparently manifested itself even before he was born: his mother recounts that he would already react—while still in the womb—to the melodies his older sister played on the family’s piano in their home. He became familiar with the keyboard at a very early age and began taking music lessons at the age of three. His precocious gifts caught his teacher’s attention. He performed in public, to the amazement of his audience.
At the age of six, his parents decided to move to Moscow to give him the best musical education in the country.
He currently studies at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory, which has trained many world-renowned musicians. Since 2023, he has also been a scholarship student at the Accademia del Ridotto music school in Stradella, Italy, where we met him on his fourteenth birthday in October 2024.
From the age of six or seven, Elisey began performing at music festivals: several times in Russia, in Kazakhstan in 2017, in Austria and Italy in 2018, again in Italy in 2019, in Dubai in 2021, and in Poland in 2022.
From the age of eleven, he won first prizes one after another in international competitions:
- in Poland in 2022 (International Piano Forum in Sanok)
- in China in 2022 (Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Piano Musicians),
- in Germany in 2023 (Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf),
- twice in the USA in 2023 (Cleveland International Piano Competition and Institute for Young Artists + Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition),
He also gives recitals and concerts, such as the one in Athens in June 2024 for World Music Day. Before 5,000 people at the ancient Herodes Atticus theatre at the foot of the Acropolis, he was the soloist in Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Hellenic Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra. In October 2024, he performed in California for a recital in Cupertino, then in France for the Nuit Chopin at the Château d'Ars, in the land of George Sand, and again in Italy. In 2025, he gave a recital in England, then in Spain, as part of the Sant Pere de Rodes Music Festival (Catalonia).
